Montmartre is famous for its artistic history (Picasso lived there in 1900, among others), its nightlife, and its famous church, the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré Cœur on its summit. The design of this lantern is inspired by the square steeple of Saint Pierre de Montmartre, one of Paris' oldest churches, tucked behind the famous Sacré Cœur. The lantern's aged white color too; it references the church's limestone exterior. This lantern has a clear glass panel on each of its four sides, one side being a door that opens for adding a candle.
Use the lantern with a 3 x 4in pillar candles. In the summer this Montmartre lantern is a great addition to alfresco dinner tables.
