3ft x 6ft Green Straw Mat

This traditional, woven straw mat is handmade in Madagascar. Traditionally used for sleeping, now lay them out on the beach, or as a textured table runner on a long table. The mat is made up of two segments that have been woven together; note the visible center seam on the mat in the image. Since the mat is handmade, each varies slightly in size.

Jamali is proud to protect Madagascar through Protegeons-Madagascar, an organization that supports the country's sustainable development, and practices fair trade in employing local Malagasy artisans to make these baskets. Since these baskets are handmade, each piece is unique, and may vary in size and color.
