This stone comes from the fossilization of Ammonites (mollusks resembling Nautilus), which became extinct 65 million years ago. Through the years, their shells have been compressed and mineralized to become iridescent. 

The ammonite is a powerful earth-healing fossil. The spirals serve as a filter, drawing in negative energies through the spirals and releasing them as fresh, positive, loving life force energies.
