Stalactite is a tapering structure formed of calcium salt deposits by dripping water, and is mostly formed in caves. As the water comes into contact with the air, some of the calcium bicarbonate precipitates back into limestone to form a tiny ring, which gradually elongates to form a rock like structure.

Each piece is unique, and will vary in size, color, and pattern, from the ones shown here.
