Martha Stewart Living, October 2018

PA:customproduct

Could you use a hand—or two—with the flowers for your party? When guests arrive, be sure to introduce them to your dear, departed decorator.

For Halloween, our pedestal bud vase is what discreetly holds the black candles in this DIY Floral Skull and Skeleton Hands Centerpiece from the October 2018 issue of Martha Stewart Living. It's a skull as a flower vase and bony skeleton hands for candleholders.

More from Martha Stewart:
Similar to Venus flytraps, the carnivorous cobra lily enjoys a live snack. Its serpentine shape and bright green coloring gives the top of the bulbous trap a snake-like look—hence, its name—with a forked tongue that's ready to strike. Pair them with a bouquet of Black Beauty roses and allium out of a human skull (as we did pictured here) for a Halloween arrangement that's certainly deadly both in metaphor and otherwise.

Here's the how-to.
