Orthoceres Shell

Orthoceras was an ancient marine mollusk that lived more than 400 million years ago. The name orthoceras means straight horn and refers to its long conical shell. For the spiritual minded, orthoceras fossils is believed to reduce toxins, anxiety, and stress, and the preserved shell is all that remains of this extinct 'squid'.

This is a genuine Orhoceres shell from Morocco and each shell will be different and will vary in size, color, and pattern, from the ones shown here.
