From the magazine: RECEPTION An "organic waterfall" of smilax hung above the reflective dance floor. CEREMONY BACKDROP Leon dreamed of marrying under a lemon tree rather than a chuppah, so they crafted their own. Roses, lemon leaves and ivy surrounded the base, and lemons filled the canopy. Birch, weeping willow, twisted wisteria and ivy made up the trunk... "We wanted the wedding to mimic a romantic forest one where two men could magically fall in love." Though tradition took center stage, unconventional details also shined. Take the set list: Israeli-Jewish music transitioned to Latin and Middle Eastern hits, then hip-hop turned up the after-party.
